TPD RIGHT SIDE DRIVE TRANSMISSION SUPPORTS

RSD support kit for TPD transmissions and TPD conversion kits, RSD frame support kit, fits 1989 thru 1999 Softail and Softail style frames

To avoid unwanted load on the cast transmission housing, the transmission trap door on TPD Right Side Drive conversions and complete transmissions is designed in such a way it can also be supported by the swing arm pivot. These support brackets are included in our RSD wide tire conversion kits. For those who order just a RSD transmission conversion or complete RSD transmission we have these support kits separately available. The support bracket for Evolution Softail style frames must be welded in place, the support bracket for Twin Cam Softail style frames bolts to the swing arm pivot. Kits include raw steel brackets and hardware.
