STX disc brake rotors are made by the leading European brake parts factory from a special high-carbon stainless steel, providing superior brake control. This stainless steel material has almost the same braking characteristics as cast iron, but without the disadvantage of becoming rusty in no time. The "wave" design does not only look great, but also enables better radial expansion under extreme heat conditions to prevent disk wrapping. The carriers of these floating rotors are also made out of stainless steel.
