These billet aluminum backing plates have a license plate frame, tailor made to fit most common European plates. They install with the separately available rubber mounting block ZPN358079, which has the standard hole pattern on most rear fenders from 1955 to present. Alternatively you can install them with the separately available side mount bracket that allows installation on 3/4", 25mm and 1" rear axles. In case your standard 3/4" axle is to short, we have a trick adapter nut ZPN 744620 available. All mounting holes in the backing plates are pre-drilled from the inside. All you have to do is finish the holes needed for your application, so your new license plate frame doesn't show any holes you don't need. Both backing plates and side mount brackets come complete with chrome hardware.
