Simply mount the tool on the left hand threads of the transmission main shaft, and give the end of the tool a sharp tap with a medium weight hammer and the clutch hub simply "pops" off. Works with all taper shaft clutch hubs as used on 1936-1989 45CI, Sportster & Big Twin.
